Karen Berger-Brown

On November 2, 1965, Karen Patrice Barger-Brown was born to James

Brown and Jean Johnson at DC General Hospital in Washington,D.C. Karen had a varialy of hobbies as a child, induding singing and dancing. Karen attended Charles Corroll Middle, Francis Scot Key Jr High, and Largo High School. Karen received her GED and her early childhood development certification, at Ballou Stay also earned a professional development certificate from DC. For many years, she worked as an early childhood educator at Kids Are Us Child Care Center.

Later Karen Married Julius Dunn of Washington DC on January 27,2012 in Alexandria, VA. Karen would talk about her children to any and everybody, and would

encourage them to live their life to the fulles. She loved her children

unconditionally. Karen had a passion for writing, she started a journey on writing a book about her life and its to be continued. Karen loved the lord and attended The Living Water Church Ill.


Preceded in her death by Daughter Selta Brown, Grandson Jacii Brown, Grandfather James Brown SR and Brother Man. Karen leaves to cherish in her loving memory her children, Tennah Brown, Sade Brown, Latroka Brown, Leonard Brown, Johnathan Brown, Jamar Brown, Linda Jamison,

Isaiah McBride, Ariel Caesar, Timothy Williams, Kingston Williams, Leonard Jr, Mason Brown, LaNea brown, Jayden Thomas, Bryce Brown, Ja’Naiya Brown, Shamar Brown, Kiai Brown Donte Jamison, Alayah King , Johy Brown, Andre Thomas Jr. , August Brown and 1 Great Grandchild Naveah Brown. Mother Jean Johnson and father James Brown II. 1 sister Jean and 3 brothers Corey, Mike, Orlando a host of loving family friends. Karen was blessed with a large and loving family.
